Bridgetown - Lawrencetown - Middleton
Route AnalysisUpon collecting the speed zones for the major roads in the area of interest, ESRI's Network Analyst extension was employed to develop a fully functioning routable road network. It was then possible to calculate drive times & drive distances to various locations throughout the study area.
Service Area AnalysisThe completion of a routable road network for the chosen study area allowed for a Service Area analysis to be performed. This map shows the distance that the Lawrencetown Fire Department could cover within 10 minutes of leaving the station.

Origin-Destination Cost Matrix AnalysisShown above are the results of an Origin-Destination Cost Matrix analysis. Six locations were chosen as origins/destinations. By clicking on the map it is possible to see the travel times along with distances from each origin to the 3 closest destinations.
Closest Facility AnalysisAfter creating a road network for the Bridgetown, Lawrencetown & Middleton areas complete with speed zones the fire departments within the study area were located. These became the input a Closest Facility analysis. An incident was placed and after several parameters were set, the route was solved to find the closest fire stations within 15 minutes.
